THE DIRECTOR'S TRACK

PHASE ONE: The Director's Journey
PHASE TWO: The Director's Workshop
PHASE THREE: The Director's Resource Center

"Learn The Fine Art of Directing from One of Los Angeles' Finest Directors"

Over the past ten years director Mark W. Travis has been sharing his unique process of film directing with students and professionals from Los Angeles to Tokyo, from Munich to Malaysia. Considered worldwide as the 'director's director', Mark's approach to directing and teaching continues to revolutionize and demystify the complex and often confusing craft of directing.

Through a series of seminars and workshops he addresses all aspects of directing and gives students the unique opportunity of actually learning the craft while directing. In intimate environments students work hands-on with professional actors and scripts and equipment.

Guided moment to moment by Mr. Travis, Fred Johntz and members of the TJP staff each student has the unique opportunity to learn new skills while actually in the process of directing. The focus is on the process, not the product. The goal is to develop a wide range of skills and information that will become immediately applicable.

"Directing is 50% instinct and intuition, 50% training, experience and knowledge."
